Have you ever wondered why you are in certain places at certain times? And what is the purpose you are there?
I have to say this post really hits home for various
different reasons. Having the chance to
evaluate my life and being able to look back and see God’s hand at work even
when I didn’t know He was there. Its no
wonder the book of Esther has always been one of my favorite books of the
Bible. I’ve heard it said, although the
name of God is never mentioned you can still His hand prints all over it. And it is so true. Esther a young woman, placed as queen only
later to find out she was strategically placed for such a time to see God work
through her to save her people because of where she was.
For if you keep
silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another
place, but you and your father's house will perish. And who knows whether you
have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” (Esther 4:14)
All the circumstances from beginning to end only prove God’s
hand at work in the entire situation. So
the past couple of weeks, I've been pondering as we travel through life God
strategically places us in certain places with certain people for specific
reasons. Where has He strategically placed you today? With who?
Where is His hand at work in your life and the lives of others around
you?
Lord, draw us near to
you. Direct our steps for where you have
placed us today!
